Muito Bem! Muito Bom Trabalho. Very impressed. I enjoyed the video. Your pronunciation is excellent. I understood every word. Its almost intimidating that your so good. I don't even feel half as confident as you do. I enjoyed seeing you paint and especially loved the small piece you played of Pirates of the Caribbean on the piano. I love that movie. Você é Muito Talentosa.

    1. Muito obrigada, Lourdes! Oh my goodness you are so nice. I'm working on the pronunciation haha. Spanish keeps slipping in. Eeek I'm still working on my confidence in POR but I hope it comes soon. Faking it until I make it right now! Muito obrigada. It has been so much fun chatting with you this semester.

  2. Oi Rosario! Eu gosto seu video muito! I really liked how you incorporated so much vocabulary throughout the vlog and thought it was a great idea to show your room and clothes. Your speaking is so clear and beautiful to listen to. You clearly have a good grip on what you're doing and I love that you included the part about discriminación and derechos humanos. Muito bem trabalho!

  3. Oi Erik! It was great chatting with you on Adobe Connect, and now I finally got to meet your dog! How adorable! I can imagine it was difficult having to move a lot when you were younger, especially to Ohio where you weren't used to the cold. I think I'd prefer living in Texas or Florida as well. I was surprised to hear that you experienced some snow while living in Florida. You dad had an interesting career being in the military and being a pilot. I enjoyed your video and it was very well organized and easy to understand. Take care! Erika

  4. Oi Sarah! Wow this is such good idea. I was engaged the whole time and loved hearing you explaining the different steps. You sounded so good and you clearly have the grammar! Such a good video. Muito bem!

  5. Olá Rosario! I liked the way you shared your daily routine with us, and that you incorporated so much vocabulary from the chapters we read. Nice! You talked about furniture, your house, your work, the weather, and more. You have a very busy schedule but I'm glad you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the mornings at least. We have something in common: I'm a coffee lover too! Weekends are great for relaxing, going to the movies with friends, or spending time with your family. Great job, and good luck with the rest of the class! Tchau! Erika

  6. Oi Sarah! Your video made me hungry! You seemed very confident and all of the steps were carefully thought out. You are a good speaker with a great personality. The cheese on the eggs must be delicious, and one can't go wrong with a side of mixed berries. Your breakfast looked so healthy and fun to make. I still have not learned to like green tea but I keep trying! The music in the background was a nice touch as well. I hope you continue studying Portuguese. Até já! Erika

Not only are you a good artist, but you are also a great musician, videographer, and a polyglot! Your video was so creative enjoyable, and your pronuciation was spot-on. I have no doubts that you will be successful in any of your endeavors. Enjoy the rest of the summer! Erika

Thank you very much for sharing a little bit about your life and history! I loved learning that you lived in Florida. I lived in Atlanta, GA for almost 13 years and went to Florida frequently. I love Florida beaches!! How difficult was it to grow up moving around frequently? Did you have a tough time making new friends? Thank you for sharing a little more about yourself.

    Obrigado!

  18. Oi Haley! First I need to say that I was very impressed watching your video! This was so creative and you should be proud of it. Your video editing schools are amazing and it kept my attention throughout the entire video. Your pronunciation is amazing and you are already very fluent in the language, I'm impressed! I enjoyed learning about you and you did a great job hitting different topics. You are very artistic, in art and music. The piano and guitars tunes were lovely. 19. Oi Horacio! Your video was very well made! The pictures that you included were great and really helped detail your presentation. Seattle seems like a great place and I would love to visit sometime. I love all of the sights in Seattle and one place that I would like to visit is the original Starbucks. I heard that the lines are always crazy but it would be worth the wait. On a side note, yes it was difficult moving around all the time when I was younger and it was always hard meeting new friends. Thank you so much for sharing and good luck in the future!

  21. Haley -

Super enjoyed our conversation the other day. You're a great student and it's fun to meet another "language collector". I know you'll enjoy your time in Spain and wherever else travels / teaching takes you... it's a very rewarding lifestyle.

Nice job editing the video btw. I know the project was meant to showcase our language ability, not our aesthetic sensibilities, but this looked good and was fun to watch just from a visual perspective. Nice work!

I enjoyed watching your video about what you do in a day and the tour of your beautiful house! I think you did a great job of utilizing relevant vocabulary words related to each room of your house. Additionally, you used good grammar and incorporated new vocabulary that I was not familiar with. I also thought you did a great job pronouncing the words! Do you enjoy working as a secretary? 28. Hey Erika,

We had such a nice chat earlier this year, so wanted to check in with your video and see what you did! GREAT WORK! I especially appreciated your good camera work and production. My video ended up being SUPER janky, some of our classmates did one shot selfie videos (which is fine of course, this is a language class, not videography), but yours was very nicely edited which made it a pleasure to watch. Enjoy your summer in Madison! Have some sweet corn for me next month :) And let's go Brewers!
